It’s always nice when customers are over the moon with timber they receive.

Mick Gemson from Malvern very kindly sent in some pictures of an extension he’s built to an old cottage, using Siberian larch cladding from Vastern Timber.

Mick’s done a fine job of fitting the cladding, paying special attention to the detailing around the windows and doors. Interestingly Mick chose to mix up the board widths to break up the regularity of the surface.  This is a really good example of how the Siberian larch can be used to create a contemporary, yet interesting feel in a rural setting. Left untreated the larch will weather down to a silver grey colour which will compliment the aluminium windows and grey slate cill.
