The annual Daily Telegraph Homebuilding and Renovation Award is Britain’s premier awards scheme for self builders and renovators, so it was great to see Vastern Timber make a key contribution to one of this year’s shortlisted projects.

Miner’s Cottage I and II are the work of Bristol-based architects Design Storey: two stunning contemporary dwellings that use our Siberian larch cladding and decking in really clever, innovative ways to achieve an effect that is very up-to-date, whilst also being sympathetic to the historical location.
